Husband and  Wife Partnership

In 1995, Shelley and Mark moved to eastern Ontario looking for a piece of land to build their home and raise a family. They found a unique 10 acre lot on the shores of Lamb's Pond   Knowing they would be stewards of this special property,  a provincially significant Class I wetland,  they worked to prepare and build a home that would become part of the natural environment. Shelley and Mark's  evolving partnership blends a  pragmatic approach with feelings and intuition. Mark with an engineering background and  interest in sustainable living ,  designed the Timberframe home as an extension of the outdoors.
Shelley , with a background in environmental education and personal wellness enjoys helping people of all ages connect to their natural

In 2003, Shelley was the recipient of the Cataraqui Conservation Foundation/Dupont Canada award for advancing the understanding of the environment of the Cataraqui Region Conservation Authority watershed, and promoting its protection through education, conservation or advocacy.

Over the past 26 years, Lamb's Pond has evolved from a place to raise two girls into a beautiful retreat space welcoming clients and guests seeking the peace and tranquility of a private natural environment.

Realigning our relationship with nature is vital for long-term and

sustainable solutions to climate change.
